Welcome to the Berl Katznelson Foundation's Progressive2Progressive P2Pprogram
The Berl Katznelson Foundation is launching an innovative US-Israel dialogue and exchange program aimed at reconnecting young liberal and progressive American Jews with Israel. The program leverages shared values, language, and professional collaboration to highlight that partnership, not distancing or boycotts, is the most impactful path to meaningful change.
Overview: Bridging the Divide
This program acknowledges the widening gap between many young Jewish leaders in the U.S, proposing a peer-to-peer (P2P) model built on shared language that aligns with liberal values and professional objectives. It emphasizes collaboration through common values and interests, deliberately broadening the focus beyond Israel centric themes to foster meaningful engagement. Through shared platforms, participants will co-create initiatives with lasting impact, guided by the unifying message, "we are not our government," to strengthen connections between young U.S. liberals and their Israeli counterparts.
Our Proven Model: Building Connections Through Professional Exchange
Exchange best practices and knowledge with similar (high) caliber of professionals from US/Israel.
Shared liberal Values & Interests – Collaborative projects rooted in mutual areas of professional and personal interest, reducing barriers to engagement.
Shared Platforms & Outputs – Participants co-create projects and outputs that extend beyond individual exchanges, influencing broader communities.
Our program offers a fresh approach, built on three key pillars:
